How can I join the Parent Association?
Through a recent change, all parents, family members, or guardians of current students are automatically members of the Parent Association. Parent Resources is working to collect the contact information. Please click here to visit the Parent Association website and to submit your information for membership.
How can I get a 2009-2010 Parent & Family Resource Calendar?
Calendars were handed out to parents and families who attended Parent & Family Orientation during the summer of 2009. While there are no longer have hard copies available for families, a digital copy is available by clicking here.
How can I locate contact information for University departments?

What does the university do to keep my student safe?
The University of Utah Department of Public Safety has many programs and initiatives that aim to keep the campus and surrounding area safe. These programs include Safety Escorts, Emergency Phones on campus, a campus alert system, and many more. There are also many other resources available on their website. Where should my student go if s/he gets sick?
If your student has Student Health Insurance (through GM Southwest), s/he must go to Student Health Center unless it is an emergency. Please visit the University of Utah’s page on GM Southwest’s website for more information. If your student is on your insurance or has other private insurance, it is best to discuss what providers in the area accept private insurance (especially for out of state students) before s/he gets sick. My student wants to live on campus. When should s/he apply for housing?
Reservation times for on-campus housing are assigned based on the date and time your student's application is completed, so the earlier students complete their applications, the more options they will have when selecting a room. View the Housing & Residential Education website for more information.
How can I see my student’s grades or tuition bill?
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a U.S. federal law that protects the privacy of student educational records. For more information, visit the U.S. Department of Education website. Your student can sign a waiver granting a third party, such as parents, access to certain records. Please visit the Office of the Registrar website for information on releasing educational records.
How can I get financial aid for my student?
The first step to receiving financial aid is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Applications for the academic year (starting in the fall) are accepted beginning in January of that year. Please visit Financial Aid & Scholarships for more information regarding various forms of financial aid, including scholarships, loans, and grants.
Where can I get proof of my student’s full time enrollment?
For verification, please have your student log onto the Campus Information System. When on their “Student” page, have the student find the Student Records Box and then click on “Self-Service Enrollment Verification”. Students or parents can also contact the Registrar’s Office to have this form completed by clicking here or by calling 801-581-5808.
How do I get to Campus?
